DC DeCember: Aquaman!

So, if you know me, you know that I am pretty fond of the animated show: “Batman- the brave and the bold.” Which is based on a comic of the same name, and is basically just the classic superhero team-up. Well, one of my favorite characters on the show is the rowdy boisterous Aquaman and his catchphrase — “Outrageous!”

Anyway, here is a quick sketch done in the brave and bold style.

In my attempt to update my site with sketches and doodles and such, I have decided to have DC DeCember! I am going to draw different DC comic characters this month in my ode to great heroes and villains! Anyway, let’s start with a bad dude… BIZARRO!

Not to spoil this show for anyone, but if you don’t know the twist in V, you are either 10 years old or no friend of mine! Anyway,  I thought I’d sketch a ‘V’ster. I might also draw what this guy would look like with a face on ( probably not too good looking, lol) 

A paintbrush marker sketch

So I got these Japanese paintbrush markers at Comic-Con this year and I thought I would finally test them out tonight with a quick sketch. Cool markers, not sure I quite have the hang of them yet.

Comic-Con was a blast!

I’m back from Comic-Con, a little older and a lot wiser. It was a blast! Me and the rest of the Wednesday Warriors crew rocked the con.
